Guinea hen weed or Anamu as it is called in South America is an extremely powerful herb. It is indigenous to, Jamaica, South and Central America. It grows freely in other islands in the Caribbean, Africa and even in the Southern United States. There have been many scientific studies done to research it's well touted ability to reverse inflammation in the body commonly referred to as  cancer. This is reportedly because

 of a compound Guinea hen weed contains called Dibenzyl Trisulfide, which has been proven to inhibit a specific RSK Kinase commonly found in cancers. Outside of this amazing healing power, it is also used to aid in reversing diabetes. It is so powerful that the blood sugar should be monitored to ensure hypoglycemia doesn't occur. It has been said to help reverse or slow the effects of parkinson's and alzheimer's disease. It is a potent nervine that helps to relax the nerves to aid in pain relief of all kinds. It is an antimicrobial, so it works to aid the bodies immune system in killing off all forms of unwanted microbes. This herb is very strong and the usage guidelines below should be followed precisely. 

PRECAUTIONS:  Guinea Hen Weed has been used traditionally to induce abortions by causing contractions in the Uterus. So Women who are pregnant or would like to become pregnant SHOULD NOT drink this tea. 

Guinea Hen weed also thins the blood to aid in circulation. So do not combine it with the usage of any blood thinners like Coumadin.

PREPARATION: Boil 3 cups of water. Turn of the fire. Use a small handful of the dried herb and add it to the boiled water to steep for at least 20 minutes. Once done only 1/2 a cup every other day is needed, hot or cold.  Bottle the remaining tea in a glass container and store it on refrigerator for up to a month.
