In Jamaica Fever grass (Lemon Grass) is used as a remedy for cold, coughs and fevers. It is known as an anti-inflammatory, cleanses the kidneys, antiseptic skin wash for sores and wounds, soothes gas, and as a flavorful spice in meals. It is a Jamaican staple and excellent addition to any herbal medicine cabinet.
PREPARATION: Boil 2 cups of water. Turn off the fire and add a small handful of fever grass and allow it to steep for 10 minutes then enjoy.
PREGNANCY: It is best not to consume during pregnancy.
DO NOT USE: DO NOT USE WHILE ON CHEMOTHERAPY. THE ANTIOXIDANT PROPERTIES MAY HINDER THE CHEMOTHERAPY DRUGS.
